Graphic images displayed in Freiburg by "Extrablatt"
The much-anticipated exhibition series "Extrablatt" is set to begin on September 24, 2025, at the House of the Graphic Collection in Freiburg. This series will showcase a diverse range of works from the depots of the Augustinermuseum and the Museum of Contemporary Art.
Felix Reuße, the director of the Graphic Collection, will be heavily involved in the presentation of the series. He will present previously unpublished acquisitions and donations at the opening event, which takes place at 12:30 PM on September 24, 2025.
The series will present monthly events on Wednesdays, offering visitors a chance to explore the collection throughout the year. Self-portraits by artists such as Käthe Kollwitz and woodcuts by Christoph Meckel will be part of future events in the series.
Visitors can look forward to seeing works that are rarely exhibited, including self-portraits and woodcuts. Tickets for the series cost 5 euros, with a reduced rate of 3 euros available.
