Glowing Tractor Parade Lights Up Support for Local Farmers on December 6
A tractor parade called Lichterfahrt (Lights Convoy) will take place on December 6, 2025, starting at 4:00 PM in Eichede. Organised by local farmers from the Rhein-Erft region, the main event aims to show support for agriculture. The procession will travel through multiple towns before reaching its final destination in Lübeck.
The convoy, themed ‘We Make You Shine’, will depart from Eichede at 4:00 PM. It will pass through Stubben, Schmachthagen, Lasbek, Pölitz, Bad Oldesloe, and Reinfeld before arriving in Lübeck. Organisers have asked spectators to wear reflective vests and for vehicles to keep their lights on for safety.
The Lichterfahrt will highlight local farming while ensuring a safe and well-lit journey. Spectators can support the cause by following safety guidelines and donating in advance. The convoy’s arrival in Lübeck will mark the end of the evening's event.
