Giessen Autumn Fair Kicks Off September 27th With Free Rides & Fireworks

The Giessen Autumn Fair is set to kick off on September 27th, 2025, with Mayor Frank-Tilo Becher leading the official opening at 1:45 PM. The fair, located at Ringallee, promises a thrilling lineup of attractions and special events until October 5th.

Visitors can enjoy rides like 'Robo­tix', 'Music Express', ghost train, and 'Frisbee', along with children's attractions such as 'The Crazy Construction Site' and '1001 Nights'. On opening day, all rides will be free from 2:00 to 2:30 PM.

The fair boasts extended hours on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, ensuring ample time for fun. A Giant Wheel Mini Uber will coincide with the opening, and a grand fireworks display is scheduled for October 2nd around 9:00 PM.

Volunteers can enjoy free rides and snacks on Volunteer Day, September 30th, along with a companion. Family Day on October 2nd offers 50% off rides, 20% off walk-through attractions, and discounts on food stalls. However, details about registration for the Mini Picnic on September 23, 2025, remain unavailable.
