Midsummer Eve Celebrations
On 18 June, the 'Strops' cultural space in Ēbelmuiža Park in Ziepniekkalns will host an enchanting Midsummer Eve celebration, featuring the ethno group 'Zeidi'. Visitors can look forward to an evening of dancing, a Latvian pattern workshop, and the opportunity to celebrate Midsummer together with Juris Kaukulis.
At Rātslaukums/Town Square in the Old Town, a dance concert 'Vidusvasaras dzīvestības' will take place, featuring local favourites like the folk dance ensemble and middle-aged dance group 'Līgo', 'Sen Līgo', the dance ensemble 'Daiļrade', and more. The concert will be hosted by actress Zane Burnicka.
In the courtyard of the Imanta Cultural Centre, a concert by the dance groups Dejotprieks, Imantieši, Latve, and Imanta will take place, followed by a concert by Katrīna Dimanta at 8:30 p.m. The event will also feature a wreath-making workshop and large wooden games.

Līgo. Ziedēšana Festival
The folk dance ensemble 'Līgo' and several dance groups, including 'Līgo absolventi', 'Sen Līgo', and 'Vilcenes', among others, will participate in the Līgo. Ziedēšana festival on 18 June at the 'Strops' cultural space in Ēbelmuiža Park. On 21 June, the festival will move to the Latvian Ethnographic Open-Air Museum.
At the end of the festival on 21 June, viewers will have the opportunity to experience the world premiere of the stage folk dance mystery 'Mēs deviņi bāleliņi'.
Midsummer Swing Festival and XIII Latvian School Youth Song and Dance Festival
For those with a passion for dance, the Midsummer Swing festival from 18 to 20 July offers four hours of dance workshops in two levels led by Joseph Sewell and Charlotte Middlemiss from the UK. The festival also includes a grand live music party with the Lithuanian swing band The Shoekillers at the Padejosim venue.
From 5 to 13 July, Riga hosts the XIII Latvian School Youth Song and Dance Festival, showcasing youth talent in traditional song and dance performances.
