The image shows a small building with a dome on top of it, surrounded by a wall and a railing, with windows and a door. There are plants and grass on the ground, and in the background there are trees, hills and a sky with clouds, making it a perfect representation of the 10 must-visit places in Udaipur, India.

Gautam Gambhir's Delhi home blends cricket glory with serene family living

Former cricketer Gautam Gambhir and his wife Natasha have opened the doors to their Delhi home in Asian Paints Where The Heart Is – Season 9. The two-storey residence is designed as a quiet retreat, blending simplicity with warmth. For Gautam, the space offers an escape from his high-pressure career, embodying the idea that 'home is peace'.

The house centres around a soaring atrium topped with a domed ceiling. Sunlight filters through gently, shifting patterns of light and shadow as the day progresses. This natural movement of light adds to the home's serene atmosphere.

Gautam and Natasha's design choices reflect their contrasting yet complementary styles. Gautam favours clean, neutral tones, while Natasha introduces warmth and texture, striking a balance between architecture and nature. The walls are painted in Lankan Jasmine from Asian Paints' Nilaya Arc Matt range, giving the interiors a soft, breathable feel.

The trophy lounge tells the story of Gautam's cricketing career, but with restraint. Awards sit alongside family photographs and books, avoiding ostentation. Meanwhile, the daughters' rooms are bright and airy, using calm whites and gentle neutrals to create spaces for play, rest, and independence.

This season of Where The Heart Is also features other well-known personalities: Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal, Keerthy Suresh and Antony Thattil, Archana Puran Singh and Parmeet Sethi, and Aman and Priya Gupta. For the first time, the series includes a Lookbook, letting viewers recreate elements of these homes in their own spaces.

The Gambhirs' home stands as a retreat from the demands of public life. Its thoughtful design—mixing light, texture, and personal touches—creates a space for connection and ease. The series now gives audiences a way to bring similar ideas into their own homes through the newly launched Lookbook.
