According to the bulletin, operating a gas-powered leaf blower for one hour generates pollution equivalent to a one-way trip from Los Angeles to Denver. Although the law banning gas leaf blowers officially takes effect on July 1, 2024, the regulation seemed to be minimally enforced in 2022.
