Füssen-West Brings Holiday Joy to Isolated Seniors With Thoughtful Gifts
A local association in Füssen has spread festive cheer to elderly residents this Christmas. The group, known as Füssen-West, delivered gift bags to two senior care homes in the area. Their efforts aim to support isolated seniors and improve community spirit.
The Füssen-West association handed out gift bags to St. Michael and St. Martin senior care homes. Chairman Dr. Manfred Renn personally presented the donations to facility directors Matthias Stroeher and Andreas Vogel. Each bag contained small tokens of appreciation for residents lacking social support.
The group funds these initiatives through annual membership fees. This year, they also focused on projects to enhance accessibility for seniors. Beyond Christmas gifts, the association regularly organises events to improve quality of life in Füssen’s western district.
The gift bags were part of a wider effort to bring comfort to elderly residents during the holidays. The association’s work relies on member contributions and targets both festive support and long-term accessibility standards improvements. Their activities continue to strengthen community ties in the region.
