Freiburg Launches 9th Urban Greening Advisory Week
Freiburg residents and organisations are invited to one-on-one consultations this Thursday, as the city launches its ninth advisory week on urban greening from October 27 to 30. The 'GebäudeGrün hoch3' funding program aims to enhance quality of life through building greening initiatives.
The week focuses on promoting green roofs, facades, and depaved courtyards to create a climate-resilient city. An online information session, 'Is Your Home Wearing Green Yet?', will be held on Monday evening to encourage residents to adopt greener practices. While there's no specific organisation mentioned for green land development, Freiburg emphasises intelligent spatial concepts and well-thought-out public spaces, which could involve green initiatives. Funding applications can be submitted to the Environmental Protection Office at any time, not just during advisory weeks. Necessary documents and booking options for free initial consultations are available on the city’s website at www.freiburg.de/gg3.
Freiburg's ninth advisory week on urban greening offers residents and organisations the chance to learn about and implement greening initiatives. One-on-one consultations are available this Thursday, with funding applications accepted year-round.
