Free Workshop: Understanding Sexual & Gender Diversity in Youth Settings
The City of Bamberg's Office for Inclusion is hosting a free workshop on sexual and gender diversity on November 17, 2025. The event, led by the LSBTI* Training Bavaria team, will focus on youth and schools, providing practical knowledge for professional settings. It will cover topics such as coming out, gender transition, and the challenges faced by LGBTQ+ individuals.
The workshop, titled 'Sexual and Gender Diversity in Schools and Youth Work', will take place from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM at Lui One, Luitpoldstraße 51. It aims to introduce participants to LSBTI*Q+ topics and raise awareness of diverse lived realities. The program is designed for educators, youth workers, counseling professionals, school social workers, and staff from other educational institutions.
Due to limited capacity, interested participants are urged to register by November 12, 2025, via email at demokratie@ourwebsite. The workshop is funded by the Bavarian State Ministry of Family, Labor, and Social Affairs and Bamberg’s Democracy Promotion Initiative, making it free of charge.
