Free Leaf Disposal in Our City Until 28.02.2026
Residents of our city can now dispose of leaves, acorns, and chestnuts for free until 28.02.2026. The service is provided by our city marketing and is based on trust.
Leaves can be disposed of in the last parking bay, direction Altenritte, in a fenced-off area. The company BVE collects and transports the leaf waste from this disposal area. Residents can unload leaves on both the left and right sides of the area, following a one-way street rule.
Alternatively, leaves can be left in a pile in the garden. This provides shelter for animals and protects perennial and vegetable beds. However, grass and hedge clippings are not permitted in the leaf waste.
Our city's private households can take advantage of this free leaf disposal service until 28.02.2026. The offer is based on trust and may be discontinued if foreign substances are found in the leaf waste.
