Free balcony planting workshop comes to Neuwied on April 8
A free workshop on balcony planting will take place in Neuwied on April 8. Organised by the Soziale Stadt initiative, the event offers expert advice for creating beautiful balcony displays. Registration is required before April 7, as spaces are limited.
The session runs from 6:00 to 7:30 PM at the GSG Senior Residence on Rheinstraße 46. Master gardener Frank Jentzsch from Blumen Jentzsch will lead the workshop, sharing practical tips and creative ideas for container planting.
Attendees will learn about plant selection for different seasons, sun and shade needs, and frost resistance. The workshop also covers step-by-step planting techniques to ensure impressive results. Organisers hope the event will prepare participants for the upcoming Neuwied Garden Market on April 11-12.
