Fred Media names Jamie I as APAC Sales Manager to drive regional growth
Fred Media has hired Jamie I as its new APAC Sales Manager, marking a key step in the company's expansion across the region. The move follows a sales team restructure and builds on three years of steady growth in its distribution, FAST, and linear businesses.
Jamie I brings over two decades of industry experience to the role, having previously led Amazon MGM's Asia Pacific division as Vice President.
Jamie I replaces Jimmy Elkington, who had managed Fred Media's catalogue across APAC, the Middle East, Africa, and Inflight markets. Her appointment aligns with the company's Total Distribution strategy, launched in 2023 to strengthen its APAC footprint.
Before joining Amazon MGM, she held senior sales positions at ABC in Australia and Red Arrow International. Derek Dyson, WTFN's Chief Commercial Officer, noted that her expertise and industry connections would help drive further growth in the region. The restructure also includes Anna Wooley's promotion to Acquisitions & FAST Lead. She will now oversee content acquisition for Fred Media's linear sales and Radar, the company's expanding digital distribution arm. Dyson added that 2026 is expected to be another strong year, with new team members and upcoming developments in place.
Fred Media's latest hires reflect its focus on expanding in APAC and strengthening its distribution and FAST businesses. The company has reported consistent growth over the past three years, with Radar and linear sales playing a central role. The new roles are set to support its ongoing strategy in the region.
