Franciscan Museum Celebrates Black Forest Traditions with Festive Events

The Franciscan Museum is preparing for a festive season with a special guided tour and a Christmas market. On Sunday, December 7, visitors can explore Black Forest traditions through a pre-Christmas walk. The event coincides with the 17th Christmas Arts and Crafts Market, running over two days at the same venue.

The guided tour begins at 3 p.m. on December 7, led by museum guide Christine Hembach. She will take visitors through exhibition halls and traditional Black Forest parlours. The focus will be on winter customs and stories, both historical and modern.

The Franciscan Museum’s activities highlight the Black Forest’s rich winter traditions. The guided tour and market provide visitors with a chance to experience local culture firsthand. Both events are open to the public, with tickets available now.
