Festival in historic Munich city center attracts crowds with over 90 vendors

In the heart of Germany, the picturesque town of Fürstenfeldbruck is set to host its annual Old Town Festival (Altstadtfest) from July 24 to July 26, 2025. This three-day event promises a vibrant mix of genres, activities, and entertainment across five stages and over 90 stands[1].

The festivities kick off on Friday, July 25, with a series of exciting events. At 6:45 PM, the Boellerschuetzen of the Koeniglich Privilegierten Feuerschuetzen, along with Mayor Christian Götz, will fire the opening shot on Amperbrücke[1]. This will be followed by a welcome speech by Mayor Götz at 6:50 PM.

Music lovers can look forward to a variety of live performances and party events from 7 PM to midnight. The PartyAlarm Show- and Partyband will take the stage in front of the Rathaus, while Sauwuid (Partyrock) entertains the crowd at the same location[1]. Bella Bruck, an Italian night featuring live music by Daverna & Kristina and DJ beats in the Stadtbiergarten, is another highlight[1].

For those preferring electronic beats, house, and techno sounds, DJ Kollektiv Kandis Klub will be spinning tunes at a separate stage[1]. Other performances on Friday include Body & Beat (Zumba Show & HipHop Ü18/Ü30) at 8:30 PM, Faschingsfreunde Fürstenfeldbruck – Les Cancannettes on Augsburger Straße at 10 PM, and Rock Division (Cover Rock) at Leonhardsplatz[1].

The evening will also see performances by Seven To Nine (Rockcover), Black Sheeps Orchestra (Loop Station, Folk, Indie, Punk), Capones (Funk, Pop, Rock, Reggae), BIG S (Pop Rock), and Generation Jukebox (Rock songs from every decade)[1].

The city centre transforms into a massive party zone on weekends, with Dachauer Street becoming a paradise for little visitors on Saturday and Sunday from 1 PM to 6 PM[1]. This family-friendly area offers numerous interactive activities, including a playmobile and Clown Pippo[1].

The Ibiza Lounge Edition will take place on an unspecified day, while bus replacement stops will be at Marthabräu Street during the festival[1]. Several streets in Fürstenfeldbruck's city centre will be closed for traffic from Friday at 9 AM until Monday at 5 AM for the festival[1].

Delivery traffic will be possible on Friday until 4 PM and on Saturday and Sunday until 9 AM[1]. Plant pots will be placed in Philipp-Weiß, Maisacher, and Aumiller streets as part of the security concept, and a toilet wagon will be placed across the road in Adolf-Kolping Street[1]. Taxi stands have been set up at Maisacher, Julie-Mayr, and Fürstenfelder streets during the festival[1].

Hardy's Fitness Studio organizes an Italian night with live music and catering at the newly designed cattle market square on Friday[1]. The city of Fürstenfeldbruck has developed an 80-page security concept for the festival visitors[1]. With so much to see and do, the Old Town Festival in Fürstenfeldbruck guarantees no boredom[1].
