Explore Whales at Free City Museum Event on Aug 31
Join us for an exciting marine educational activity at the City Museum on Saturday, August 31, 2024. The event, part of the 'WinterWale' exhibition, is free and welcomes children from around 5 years old. Pre-registration via email to stadtmuseum@ourwebsite is appreciated for planning purposes, but spontaneous visitors are also welcome.
The activity, led by Hannah Kruft from the Education Center for Climate Protection and Environment, will have three 45-minute sessions starting at 11 am, 12 pm, and 1 pm. Each session will focus on a different topic related to whales. Accompanying persons are invited to explore the museum's exhibitions while the children engage in the marine learning experience.
The name of the sea expert participating in the marine school program is not provided. However, Wilma, an experienced marine educator, will take the children on an exciting journey through the oceans. She will share her knowledge about whales, making the sessions both educational and engaging.
The marine educational activity is free and offers three sessions to choose from. Pre-registration is encouraged but not mandatory. Parents and accompanying persons are welcome to explore the museum while the children learn about these magnificent creatures.
