Epic Pass retires as Ikon and Indy passes reshape ski season options
The ski season is underway, with several resorts like Keystone and Breckenridge already open. Meanwhile, changes are afoot in ski passes. The Epic Pass will soon be retired, while the Indy Ski Pass and Mountain Collective Pass offer new options. The Ikon Pass also expands its reach into Asia.
The Epic Pass, a long-standing favorite, will cease sales after November 16, 2025. Epic Pass holders can still enjoy discounted tickets for friends, called Epic Friends Tickets, offering 6-10 days at 50% off. Prices for the Epic Pass remain at $1,121 for the full adult pass and $833 for the Epic Local Pass.
With the Epic Pass's retirement looming, skiers have new options to consider. The Indy Ski Pass and Mountain Collective Pass provide extensive access at competitive prices. Meanwhile, the Ikon Pass expands its global reach. As the season progresses, more resorts will open, offering ample opportunities for skiers to hit the slopes.
