Emelina Brings Cuban-Inspired Fine Dining to West Palm Beach on February 3

A new Cuban-inspired fine dining restaurant, Emelina, is set to open in West Palm Beach on February 3. Located in the Flamingo Park district, it will offer an intimate experience with just a 12-seat chef's counter and two small tables. The project is a collaboration between chefs Osmel González and Camila Salazar, along with APM Restaurant Group.

Chefs Osmel González and Camila Salazar, both formerly of EntreNos, are leading the concept. González brings experience from top restaurants like Disfrutar in Spain, Kikunoi in Japan, and venues in California. Salazar, his partner in the venture, shares a commitment to thoughtful, locally focused dining.

Emelina's menu will reimagine Cuban fine dining, exploring how the island's cuisine might have evolved under different historical conditions. The team will source ingredients from Florida producers to reduce their environmental impact. This approach reflects their dedication to sustainability and community support.

The restaurant's design includes artwork by Venezuelan artist Antonio Ugarte, curated by Álvaro Perez Miranda. Miranda, founder of APM Restaurant Group and owner of the Black Ship Gallery in Miami, was drawn to Salazar and González's integrity and vision. His group, known for venues like Hiyakawa and Ogawa, is backing the project.

West Palm Beach has become a growing destination for high-end dining, with Emelina adding to its reputation as a culinary hotspot.

Emelina will serve a single seasonal tasting menu in a carefully designed space. The collaboration between Salazar, González, and APM Restaurant Group aims to deliver a unique, intentional dining experience. Reservations are expected to open ahead of its February 3 launch.
