Easter gathering at Staufenplatz is now available
After a successful run in previous years, Düsseldorf's Easter Fair is set to return, promising a delightful mix of fun, food, and festivities for all ages. The fairground operators are eagerly anticipating the first fair of the year, which opened on Easter Saturday at 2 PM in Staufenplatz.
Visitors can look forward to a variety of attractions, including thrill rides like "Kaisers Predator", family-friendly options such as cakewalks, dark rides, trampolines, bouncy castles, and traditional games. For the little ones, there are attractions like bungee jumping, duck fishing, a water ball pool, mini bumper cars, and more. The fair also boasts over 50 stalls and attractions, with the Ferris wheel and the Schlager-Express being among the highlights.
The fairground operators are hoping for good weather and a large turnout, with estimates suggesting that under favourable conditions, the fair could attract over 30,000 visitors. To cater to the crowd, there will be two drink stalls serving non-alcoholic drinks and Schlüssel-Alt (€3.50 for 0.25 liters).
In addition to the usual fun and games, the Easter Fair will feature special events to enhance the festive appeal. Live music, children's Easter activities like egg hunts or craft workshops, and possibly fireworks or night illuminations are planned. The fireworks display is scheduled for Friday (25.4.) at dusk, around 9:45 PM.
For sports enthusiasts, Fortuna fans can visit the fan mobile with merchandise items on this day. A Kids' Day will be held on Wednesday (23.4.) from 3 PM to 6 PM, featuring the Adventure Action Figures.
The Easter Fair offers a unique opportunity to enjoy a panoramic view of Düsseldorf from the Ferris wheel. The fair will run daily until White Sunday (27.4.), providing plenty of space to relax and enjoy the festivities.
