The kitchen of LaNoodle buzzes with energy, reminiscent of the intensity you might associate with Bruce Lee. The chefs here meticulously craft each noodle, rolling, stretching, and slapping them flat, producing the distinct sound that echoes the name Biang-Biang.

Biang-Biang noodles, originating from the Shaanxi province, are much more than a simple dish at LaNoodle. For owner Lili Sun, these noodles hold a special place in her heart, as they remind her of her childhood in China. She fondly recalls her father preparing these noodles for her and cherished the memories they engendered.

Gastronomy has always been a part of Lili Sun's life, as both her parents are restaurant owners. Her dream of opening her own establishment finally materialized in early May, alongside fellow co-owner Limin Wu. As you enter the restaurant, you are greeted by a warm ambiance, characterized by tables, chairs on one side, red lantern lamps overhead, and a view into the open kitchen where the noodles are freshly prepared.

LaNoodle's food is well-received by patrons, and Tobias, a recent guest, found the dishes to be delicious. The menu features various noodle options, including vegetables, which can be augmented with chicken, eggplant, or beef at your discretion. A hot sauce crafted from oil, garlic, chili, and green onions further enhances the flavors of the dish.

Chef Xiayao Wang, a true master of his craft, hails from Shaanxi and boasts 18 years of experience in making handmade Biang-Biang noodles. Lili Sun herself recruited him from Hamburg, reflecting the challenges faced in the current staffing situation.
