Dubai's Al Habtoor Polo Resort and DNI launch ambitious tree-planting initiative

Al Habtoor Polo Resort and Dubai National Insurance (DNI) have teamed up to launch the Plant a Tree, Preserve the Future initiative. The project aims to boost green spaces, improve air quality, and strengthen local ecosystems across the resort. Both organisations have a strong record of supporting sustainability and community engagement.

The initiative will see several trees planted throughout Al Habtoor Polo Resort. Twelve different species have been selected, including mangroves, palms, and native desert plants. These trees will be concentrated in the resort's central green belt and along its waterways.

The chosen species are known for their resilience and environmental benefits. Mangroves help stabilise shorelines and filter pollutants, while native desert plants require less water and support local wildlife. The project aligns with the resort's long-standing sustainability efforts, which include various eco-friendly programmes.

Dubai National Insurance has also made sustainability a core part of its business approach. The company's corporate social responsibility (CSR) strategy focuses on environmental protection, ethical practices, and community impact. By partnering on this initiative, both organisations aim to create a lasting positive effect on Dubai's environment.

The Plant a Tree, Preserve the Future campaign will expand green cover and promote biodiversity in the area. The newly planted trees will contribute to cleaner air and a healthier ecosystem. This collaboration reinforces the commitment of both Al Habtoor Polo Resort and DNI to sustainable development in the region.
