Drake's $400,000 Swedish mattress is the ultimate luxury sleep upgrade

Drake has splashed out on a luxury mattress costing $400,000—more than the price of a two-bedroom apartment in Sydney. The Swedish-made bed, crafted by Hastens, is one of only a dozen from its first production run and will be regularly maintained by a specialist team. The rapper's new mattress, named the Grand Vividus, took around 600 hours to produce. It features natural materials like horsehair, wool, cotton, and flax, along with a dense spring system for extra support. Hastens designs its beds to last between 50 to 100 years, ensuring long-term durability.

Drake's 50,000-square-foot Toronto mansion now houses the ultra-exclusive piece. The company will send experts to flip and service the mattress three to four times a year. Despite its hefty price tag, the *Grand Vividus* has a waiting list, reflecting its high demand. For Drake, the bed plays a key role in his daily routine. He has spoken about its importance for unwinding and preparing for the day ahead. With a net worth estimated at $180 million in 2021, the purchase is a small fraction of his wealth.

The $400,000 mattress joins Drake's collection of high-end possessions. Its handcrafted design and rare materials set it apart from standard luxury beds. Regular upkeep by Hastens will ensure it remains in top condition for decades to come.
