Dortmund Residents Invited to Redesign 'Schaferweg' Playground
Dortmund residents are invited to participate in a project to redesign the 'Schaferweg' playground on the Flammberg in Huesten. The City of Dortmund's Urban Planning Department, local neighborhood associations, and community groups are collaborating on this initiative, which allows citizens to actively contribute to the playground's design.
The Department of Parks & Recreation|Forestry|Cemeteries and the Family Office are hosting a first meeting at the playground on Wednesday, September 24, at 4 pm. All interested citizens, including children, parents, and grandparents, are welcome to attend. At this 'zoom meeting', wishes from children and initial ideas will be collected and later implemented by the Department of Parks & Recreation|Forestry|Cemeteries. A concrete plan for the redesigned playground will be presented at a second on-site meeting. The event will take place regardless of the weather.
The 'Schaferweg' playground redesign project offers Dortmund residents a unique opportunity to contribute to their 'citizens bank' by attending the first meeting on September 24 and helping to shape the future of the Flammberg playground.
