Discovered Deals at Sam's Club During My Recent Visit:
Hey there, pal! So, I got a Sam's Club membership and I'm all about trying out the deals this joint has to offer, especially since it's right by the house boo! Since it's Member's Mark month, I thought I'd share some of the sweetest deals they've got goin' on:
Basil Pesto Time
One thing that sets Sam's Club apart from Costco (and other stores, for that matter) is the Scan & Go system. You just scan every item from your phone and pay via the app, skipping the checkout line. To encourage people to use this smooth system, they got special savings scattered all around the store. For instance, the Member's Mark Basil Pesto is currently $2 off when you use Scan & Go, bringing it down to $6.58 for a big ol' 22-ounce jar.
Watermelon Money-savers
Besides Scan & Go savings, there are also items with "Instant Savings." I noticed a massive deal on seedless watermelon. Regularly priced at $9.87, they're selling the juicy summer goodness for $3.95 off, so the price is an awesome $5.92. That's the price of a small watermelon elsewhere, so it's a complete steal, mate!
Tyson Tenders and Wonderful Pistachios
Now, over at Costco, Tyson's breaded chicken tenders are on sale. But the grilled version of the famed tenders is $2 off at Sam's. These pre-cooked tenders will come in handy for lazy days when I ain't got fresh chicken on hand but need a source of lean protein. They taste great on their own, dipped in your favorite sauce, and can be added to a salad or pasta dish. I'm gonna cook 'em up in the air fryer. Get the massive 3-pound bag for $14.98, which is less than $5 a pound.
The Lightly Salted Wonderful Pistachios are also on sale if you're after some snacks. The 24-ounce bag of shelled nuts is $2 off, bringing the price down to $13.98.
Fruit Roll-Ups and Bobo's PB&J
When it comes to bulk shopping, I usually grab whatever sugary fruit snack is on sale. This 72-roll box of Fruit Roll-Ups in Strawberry Blast and Tropical Tie-Dye flavors is on sale for $13.98 after a $2 off Instant Savings, so I snagged 'em for the kids.
I'm gonna be working with two little ones at home this summer, and sometimes I won't have time to make them food every time they're hungry. Luckily, I found this box of Bobo's PB&J sandwiches on sale. They're usually more expensive at places like Whole Foods. This variety pack, complete with nine strawberry and nine grape-filled sandwiches, went in my cart for just $14.98. They make a tasty snack or dessert treat.
Chobani Protein Drinks
Another item I'm gonna stack up on for the summer? Chobani protein drinks. Each drink has 20 grams of protein and zero added sugar.
