Design Miami Paris & Art Basel Paris Transform Paris into Global Creative Hub
Design Miami Paris and Art Basel Paris transform the French capital into a global creative hub this week. The concurrent events showcase emerging talents and iconic pieces, drawing visitors from around the world.
Design Miami Paris, in its third edition, returns to the historic Hôtel de Maisons, once residence of fashion icon Karl Lagerfeld. The venue hosts an exhibition of contemporary and historic collectible design, featuring works by Frida Escobedo, Carl Auböck, and François-Xavier Lalanne.
The event collaborates with Apple to highlight emerging design stars, including Duyi Han, formerly of Herzog & de Meuron. Brazilian designer Lucas Recchia makes his solo exhibition debut at Design Miami Paris with 'The Matter of the Tropics'. This showcase explores diverse materials from his homeland, such as glass and natural stone.
Nilufar Gallery returns to the event, presenting works by Christian Pellizzari and Allegra Hicks.
