Today, the town hall in Datteln transforms into a vibrant playground for World Chill Day! The adorable kiddos from Meckinghoven Primary School are livin' it up!

The mayor of Datteln, André Dora, can be seen today, zoomin' down the corridor on a mini ride-on car, challengin' anyone to a race! His rivals? You guessed it—the happy kids from Meckinghoven Primary School! Cause, ya know, on World Chill Day, the rules are loose in Datteln's town hall!
A Hectic Day of Play Stations!
Since 2019, the city of Datteln has welcomed school classes to its town hall for some good ol' fun, games, and carefree fun! Apart from the popular ride-on cars, there's face painting, ring toss, a music school, an oversized foosball table, and even a mini fire station from Datteln's fire department! Kids can even pretend to put out fires with a water hose!
Chatting excitedly as she watches the children running, jumping, and playin' ball, Roswitha Schweinsberg, the deputy headteacher of the primary school, grins from ear to ear.
For lunch, the kids go for ice cream instead of sandwiches! An ice cream truck luckily dropped by the town hall today, giving every student a sweet treat! Meanwhile, the mayor keeps on racin' on his mini vehicle!
