Dangote and XCMG Join Forces to Transform Africa's Industrial Landscape

The Dangote Group and XCMG Construction Machinery Co. Ltd. have signed a strategic cooperation agreement. This partnership aims to boost infrastructure, industrial growth, and sustainable projects across Africa through joint efforts in multiple sectors.

The agreement establishes a framework for closer collaboration based on shared development goals and mutual trust. Both companies will prioritise each other in future projects, offering preferential terms where possible.

Key areas of cooperation include mining, petrochemicals, building materials, agriculture, and infrastructure construction. Beyond traditional sectors, the partnership will focus on sustainability and innovation. This involves joint development of new electric equipment, promotion of eco-friendly projects, and efforts to cut carbon emissions while reducing operational costs.

XCMG will provide dedicated support to Dangote's projects through its African sales and service network. The company will deploy specialised teams to deliver integrated equipment solutions, including complete machinery sets, new energy technologies, and smart systems. Additional support will include logistical assistance and facilitating staff visits to China for training and coordination.

The partnership emphasises long-term industrial capacity building and sustainable development. XCMG's role will extend beyond equipment supply, offering technical expertise and tailored services to enhance project efficiency.

The collaboration is set to strengthen infrastructure delivery and green industrial projects in Africa.
