In the heart of a charming Swedish island, Janniche Kristoffersen's home shines bright with the festive spirit. This free-spirited family abode, also home to three mischievous cats, is the focus of our latest article.
Janniche's home, a blend of peach and rust tones, is a symphony of DIY touches that come alive during the Christmas season. The interior design is a testament to Janniche's creativity, with natural linen curtains adorning her bedroom and bistro chairs from Granit scattered throughout.
The walls of her bedroom are painted in Caramel by Alcro, while her cushion features the Water Lilies fabric by Fine Little Day. A RAR rocker and a Crinkle Throw by Hay add a touch of comfort to the space.
Janniche's home also boasts a Morso woodburning stove and a Snöblomma light from Watt & Veke, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The decorations are simple yet elegant, with flowers such as amaryllis and branches with red berries adorning the rooms.
In keeping with five festive traditions, Janniche bakes Adventsfika, decorates the Christmas tree, visits the Christmas market at Skansen, celebrates Christmas Eve, and blogs about it all at bloggaibagis.
To add a magical touch, Janniche dries orange slices and makes garlands for decoration. She also uses paper stars and lights from Granit, along with a string of fairy lights for additional light.
