Mosey on over to West Hollywood's The Luckman Club, a swanky hangout at Soho House. This chic spot, hosting everything from swanky corporate events to hip parties, boasts a top-notch bar, lounge, and stages for musical performances. When the management was on the hunt for a versatile sound system, they tapped Pinnacle Audio, Video, & Lighting for the job. And boy, did they deliver! They installed a dope distributed 1 SOUND system, baby.
For the lounge areas' audio design, 1 SOUND's badass Cannon coaxials were the pick of the litter. Pinnacle went with Cannon C6i's due to their crystal-clear sound, deep bass, and ability to reach high SPLs. These C6 bad boys can deliver clear, easy-on-the-ears tunes in a bar or dining setting, yet they've got the SPL and range to crank up the energy for get-togethers, events, or live shows. They were mounted with color-matched C-Clamp and L-Bracket accessories, allowing for precise angle adjustments. For bass, 1 SOUND's rad SUB12 subwoofers were hidden away in the larger lounge areas while a slick MiniSUB5 was rolled out in a private dining room.
Time to talk a bit about evolution in audio, y'all. Soho House dug the setup because it not only sound dope but also could be color-matched to the space. This system was powered by wicked Powersoft Quattrocanali 2404 and 2804 amplifiers.
The AVIT honcho for The Luckman Club shared his excitement, saying this was the system he'd been hunting for to handle multiple event types without the need for extra gear. He also praised the 1 SOUND squad for balancing the room's acoustics, especially considering all that fancy glass and hard surfaces.
A few weeks later, the 1 SOUND team returned to tweak the system for optimal performance. "Shoutout to the 1 SOUND gang for continuing to go beyond the call," declared technical development program director for Soho House, Sam Conklan. "I knew the equipment was great, but this was the first time I got to work with Lou and Michael to commission a system. The attention to detail for the entire AV setup to ensure top-notch sound was dope."
