Converge ICT Unveils Philippines' Largest Digital Infrastructure with AI-Ready Data Center

Converge ICT Solutions Inc. has completed its National Digital Infrastructure, marking a major step in the Philippines' digital expansion. The company recently inaugurated the Angeles Data Center, a high-performance facility designed for AI and cloud computing. This move strengthens the country's ability to handle advanced technology workloads while keeping critical data within its borders. The newly opened Angeles Data Center is built to support demanding tasks like AI and machine learning. It will also host the Converge Cloud, a sovereign cloud platform ensuring that sensitive data—especially for government, finance, and healthcare—remains stored and managed locally.

Converge now operates four data centres across Caloocan, Angeles, Reliance, and Clark, offering a combined capacity of 12MW. Beyond these facilities, the company has expanded its global reach through international subsea cable systems, including Bifrost and SEA-H2X, with landing stations in Davao and La Union. By early 2026, two more cable stations will open in Baler, Aurora, and Ozamiz, Misamis Occidental, further boosting connectivity.

The National Digital Infrastructure itself spans nearly 900,000 kilometres of fibre and integrates satellite networks. Converge expects this expansion to drive growth in its enterprise and public sector divisions, particularly through new cloud and managed services. The completion of the Angeles Data Center and the National Digital Infrastructure positions Converge to meet rising demand for secure, high-capacity computing. With additional subsea cable stations on the way, the company is set to enhance both domestic and international digital connectivity. This development supports industries requiring strict data control while enabling broader access to advanced technologies.
