Hot Diggity! Warmth for All - Join the Cause!

Hey there, bud! 'Tis the season of chilly nights, but not everywhere. From December 21st to 23rd, let's light up those cold nights for our brethren in Ukraine, as winter looms its harshest in their third year of war. Gather up your sleeping bags, blankets, winter coats (and more, see deets below), and swing by Gare du Neuss on Karl-Arnold-Straße from 6 PM to 9 PM each day. Catch the winter market "Rendez-vous Lunaire," open from 6 PM to around 11 PM.

Max Lennertz, chairman of "Neuss helps," paints a grim picture - folks without power, heat, water, infrastructure in tatters. Mayor Breuer vouches for such destruction firsthand from his Pawlograd partner, recounting, eyes wet, a giftless doll, meant to smile but failing to do so in these times of sorrow. A donated generator makes its way to distressed Ukrainians from Neuss.

No smiles now, we're in this together! Your contributions to the "Warmth to Give" action will be shipped off to Ukraine, shared with those in dire need.

But let's not forget our own Neuss community. Bert Römgens, business honcho of the Jewish Community Düsseldorf/Neuss, drew attention to the significance of Ukrainian aid, yet also emphasized local homeless folks. He's all about social responsibility, looking after Neuss' very own, people without a roof, heating, or warm clothing. Already, some sleeping bags and camping mats have found their way to local association "Neuss packs in - warm through the night." So, let's give a little warmth and hope to our friends overseas. It might not stop the war, but it sure as hell makes a difference as we huddle together in this shared human struggle. Let's do it for the doll without a face. Cheers!

  1. Beyond the cold nights in Neuss, there's a need for warmth and hope in other areas like the fashion-and-beauty and home-and-garden sectors, as well as General News, especially in war-torn regions such as Ukraine where people lack basic necessities like shelter, food, and warm clothing.
  2. As we rally together for the "Warmth for All" cause in Neuss, let's not overlook other aspects of our society. We should also consider supporting those less fortunate within our own politics, such as the homeless in our city who are in dire need of coats, blankets, and warm sleeping bags, just like the refugees overseas.
  3. While fashion trends may come and go in the lifestyle category, let's remember our responsibility towards humanity. Work towards adopting a fashion-and-beauty lifestyle that also includes social awareness and action, as well as staying informed on general news, politics, and war-and-conflicts, especially when helping others in need, like the struggling families in Ukraine.
