Community Service to Be On Display on Saturday, 20th September
On the 20th of September, 2025, Gütersloh will come alive with the Fourth Citizen's Day, a bustling event that promises to showcase the spirit of community and local volunteering. The day's festivities will take place at Dreiecksplatz and Theodor-Heuss-Platz, featuring over 90 exhibitors and more than 80 associations, initiatives, and organizations.
The event, organised by Bürgerinformation Gesundheit and Selbsthilfekontaktstelle des Kreises Gütersloh (BIGS), is a testament to the city's commitment to civic engagement, volunteer work, and self-help topics such as illness, care, and psychological stress.
Visitors can find information at more than 50 white pagoda tents, where they can learn about various projects, initiatives, and self-help groups from the entire district.
