Community Event at Xenophon Therapeutic Riding Center: Experience Horses, Games, and Line Dancing in Orinda on August 9 (No Cost Involved)
On Saturday, August 9, 2025, the Xenophon Therapeutic Riding Center will be hosting its annual Neighborhood Day event in Orinda, California. This free event, taking place at 60 Don Gabriel Way, promises a fun, family-friendly afternoon filled with equine-assisted therapy activities.
The event will run from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM and offers a variety of activities for all ages. Attendees can interact with therapy horses, participate in games, crafts, and line dancing lessons, and enjoy a food-truck alley. There will also be meet-and-greets with the therapy horses, demos, raffles, and more.
Xenophon Therapeutic Riding Center serves children and adults with a wide range of physical and cognitive disabilities through therapeutic riding, hippotherapy, and other equine-assisted services. Founded in 1993, it is a 501(c)(3) PATH International Premier Center.
The center is also recruiting volunteers for its fall session, with no horse experience required. Donations and raffle proceeds from the event will directly support scholarships, horse care, and specialized equipment at the center.
