The 27th China (Shouguang) International Vegetable Science and Technology Expo is nearly ready to open. Running from April 20 to May 30, 2026, the event will feature a vast display of vegetable varieties and innovations. Organisers have confirmed over 2,600 different types will be on show this year. Visitors can explore a wide range of produce, from traditional favourites to newer hybrids. However, details about the number of international exhibitors or participating countries have not yet been released. The expo will run for over a month, giving farmers, researchers and businesses ample time to exchange ideas and products. Previous editions have drawn significant attention for their scale and diversity of offerings.

The event will run until the end of May, providing a key platform for the vegetable industry. With thousands of varieties on display, it aims to highlight advancements in agricultural technology and trade.
