Carols herald the arrival of Christmas

Around 70 singing enthusiasts came together at Biessenhofen’s parish hall for a festive evening of Christmas carols. The event, filled with music and seasonal cheer, also included a lively social gathering afterwards.

The choir, led by conductor Daniel Böhm, performed a selection of traditional carols. Among the songs were Lift Up Your Heads, Ye Mighty Gates and Daughter Zion. Willi Mooser accompanied the singers on piano, later praising their strong sense of harmony.

Hans Brugger’s deep, resonant voice stood out during the session, adding moments of quiet reflection. After the singing, attendees enjoyed a Hoigarte—a convivial gathering with punch, mulled wine, and gingerbread.

The evening brought together voices and music in a warm community setting. With carols, refreshments, and shared festive spirit, the event marked a cheerful start to the holiday season.
