Carlsbad Ranch's Legendary Flower Fields Bloom for 2026 Season
The Flower Bouquets at Carlsbad Ranch have opened their gates for the 2026 season, welcoming visitors from March 1st to May 10th. This iconic attraction, known for its vibrant displays of Giant Tecolote Ranunculus, has long been a cherished part of the region's heritage. Tickets are now available online for those eager to explore the blooming landscapes.
The tradition of the Flower Bouquets began in the early 1920s when Luther Gage first planted the land. Later, the Frazee family took over cultivation, with Edwin Frazee carefully selecting Ranunculus seeds to produce the striking colours and fullness seen today. The fields now span nearly fifty acres, bursting with endless rows of Ranunculus in shades of pink, red, yellow, and white, alongside roses, petunias, and lilies.
Each year, the flowers bloom for eight to ten weeks, drawing crowds of around 250,000 to 300,000 visitors. Beyond the breathtaking scenery, the site offers educational programmes on horticulture, conservation, and sustainable gardening. Families can also enjoy a range of activities, making it a popular destination for all ages.
This season, the Flower Bouquets will remain open through Mother's Day, providing a picturesque setting for celebrations.
The Flower Bouquets continue to grow in popularity, blending natural beauty with educational and family-friendly experiences. With its rich history and carefully cultivated blooms, the attraction remains a highlight of the region's spring season. Visitors can secure their tickets online to witness the vibrant displays before the season ends on May 10th.
