Canastota’s annual Holiday Parade of Lights will fill the streets this weekend. The event honours local hero Nelson Halladay while offering a full day of festivities for families. Activities kick off early, with the main eventbrite lighting up the evening.

The celebrations start at 8 a.m. with children’s activities spread across downtown Canastota. Games, crafts, and entertainment will run throughout the day, leading up to the evening’s highlight.

The eventbrite brings together emergency service vehicles, festive floats, and community members. Fireworks mark the end of a day dedicated to remembrance and holiday cheer. Organisers expect large crowds for the free event.
