Caddick Construction lands £2M fit-out deal at Bolton's Logistics North
Caddick Construction has secured a £2 million contract to fit out a new warehousing and office unit at Logistics North in Bolton. The project follows an earlier £3.2 million deal to design and build the 50,000 sq. ft facility for Amscreen Group Ltd.
The industrial park is already home to major firms like Amazon, Lidl, and Whistl, employing around 5,500 people. Once fully developed, Logistics North is set to deliver over 4 million sq. ft of Grade A industrial space. The scheme is also expected to generate £300 million in economic value and create more than 7,000 jobs.
Ian Threadgold, Managing Director of Caddick Construction (North West), noted strong demand for high-quality logistics and industrial space in the region. The latest contract builds on the company's previous work at the site, reinforcing its role in the park's expansion. As one of the largest developments of its kind in northern England, Logistics North continues to attract investment. The new fit-out will further support its growth as a key logistics hub.
The £2 million contract marks another step in the park's development, adding to its existing workforce and economic impact. With major companies already operating on site, the expansion will strengthen Logistics North's position as a leading industrial location in the North West.
