Brooke Hogan's bold comeback: Music, wine and a TV revival after family struggles

Brooke Hogan is focusing on her marriage, her kids, and her career comeback as she continues to navigate the death of her estranged father, Hulk Hogan. The singer gave an update on her new life in an exclusive interview with our website in the wake of Netflix's newly released docuseries about the late wrestling legend. Brooke - who currently resides in the Treasure Coast of Florida with her husband and their two babies - told us she has been busy working on herself. "I've got new music out - I just got back with my label," she shared, adding, "We've got a whole album loaded and ready to rock, and we've been steadily releasing music." Brooke, 37, explained that she decided to jump back into her music career after her 2006 hit collaboration with Paul Wall, "About Us," had a "renaissance" on TikTok. "It was crazy because that happened, truly because of fans," she said. "The fans were, you know, raising me up and dusting me off and saying, Brooke, come back." Brooke teased that she and Wall will be reuniting on her new album - potentially making a new version of their smash tune. Outside of music, Brooke is starring in HGTV's "Rock the Block" alongside Scott McGilvray. She also announced the launch of her new wine brand, House of Stars, as she told our website, "I've always wanted to do wine, and I approached my dad about it, like ten years ago ... because my mom's side of the family is from Rome, and my dad's side of the family is from Sicily, Italy, a little town called Abruzzo." However, she claimed Hulk "kind of just blew it off," so she decided to go into the booze biz solo. Brooke described the predominantly Zinfandel blend as "really delicious" and "full-bodied." "I'm super excited for people to try it," she said. Outside of her many new business ventures, the "Hogan Knows Best" alum has her hands full with her 1-year-old twins - Oliver and Molly - whom she welcomed in January 2025 with husband Steven Oleksy. "It is so much fun," she said about being a mom. "There's something very special about twins, and I just feel like that was if God gave me payback for any hardships I went through in my life, it was my husband and my kids." Brooke has been having a blast watching the siblings interact with each other. "It's so darling watching them. They're just starting to realize who each other are," she divulged. "They'll catch each other's eye and smile at each other." Their house in Florida has been completely baby-proofed, she shared. "I'm an interior designer and my house does not look like an interior designer lives in it," she joked. "It's all baby-proof. There's no decor." While Brooke had a falling out with her brother, Nick, she is hoping her kids "stay close." "My brother and I were pretty close throughout the years. You know, it stinks. Once families separate, it's like I always say, the siblings, you know, suffer the most," she said, referring to Hulk's divorce from their mom, Linda Hogan, from whom Brooke is also estranged. "That relationship suffers the most just because of the triangulation and the craziness," she continued. "But I really hope that my kids stay close because they are just so, so darling together." Raising her children with her NHL player hubby has been the greatest gift of all for Brooke. "He runs circles around me," she gushed. "I call him Saint Steven because he just is an absolute savior. He changed my life. He's just such a good guy." Oleksy and Brooke tied the knot in June 8, 2022 - keeping it a secret from both Hulk and Linda (who were married from 1983 to 2009) amid their estrangement. Brooke was not on speaking terms with her dad when he died, and she has yet to make amends with her brother and mom. For this reason, she chose not to participate in Netflix's bombshell docuseries, "Hulk Hogan: Real American," released on April 22, 2026, which was Hulk's final interview before his death. Brooke did, however, note that she wants to have a say in her dad's legacy, but doesn't feel like she does after being written out of her dad's will. She admitted to our website that she regrets her decision to be written out of the will - not because she didn't get a piece of her dad's nearly $5 million in assets - but because she doesn't have a seat at the table. "It's not about money. It's about doing the right thing and making sure that [Hulk] is represented in the correct ways, and his legacy lives on in the most positive way," she said. "So, you know, there's things I would definitely be doing differently if I were back in that seat." Brooke, who previously expressed doubt about her father's cause of death, explained that she isn't able to make "any decisions." "I can't do anything to help my dad after his death, or to find out answers, or to avenge him in any way, shape or form, because the people that I so badly wanted to get away from are now running the show, which is even more of a nightmare," she said. While she maintains a fractured relationship with both her parents - even accusing them of abuse - Brooke said she has empathy for them. "You know, there's a lot of good and there's a lot of bad that I've experienced, not only with my dad, but with, you know, my whole entire family ... immediate and extended," she said. Brooke admitted that their "family drama" is rooted in Linda and Hulk's rough childhoods. "I've been ... tracing things back and, you know, having empathy for my mom and having empathy for my dad and their upbringings and, you know, trying to at this point be a cycle breaker and not participate in what doesn't feel true to me," she said. "And only speak from my heart and my experiences while also realizing, you know, you can't really judge because you don't know." Brooke said that she is constantly "working on [herself]." "It's being accountable and also expecting accountability from other people," she said. Throughout all the hardships, Hulk still holds a special place in Brooke's heart. "I think everybody very clearly understands that I was my dad's protector and I loved him more than anything," she said.
