Bremen’s Justus Grosse Launches Green Energy Venture for Sustainable Buildings

Bremen’s Justus Grosse real estate group has launched a new company focused on sustainable energy. Justus Grosse Energie GmbH will specialise in smart heating, power, and mobility solutions for buildings. The move is part of a wider push to make the city’s properties more efficient and eco-friendly.

Private investors can now take part in the venture. Through Sachwert Invest GmbH, a subsidiary of Sparkasse Bremen, they can contribute from €500 upwards. The investment scheme is called ‘Justus Grosse Energie – Local Values. Regional Energy.’

The new company’s first projects are already underway. A photovoltaic system is being installed on the roof of the FORUM office building. Charging points for electric vehicles are also going in at the MOBI 1 and MOBI 2 mobility hubs. Further solar panels and charging infrastructure are being set up in the TABAKQUARTIER and on the Landmarksockel in Bremen’s Überseestadt district.

Justus Grosse Energie GmbH offers a range of services for both homes and businesses. These include solar power systems, low-carbon heating, and electric vehicle charging stations. The company’s goal is to help properties become more energy-independent while cutting emissions. By opening the scheme to private backers, Justus Grosse aims to speed up Bremen’s energy transition. The investment model ties financial returns to local climate action, giving residents a direct stake in the city’s green future.

The launch of Justus Grosse Energie GmbH expands the group’s sustainability efforts. Its projects will add solar power and charging networks across key Bremen locations. For investors and the city, the initiative promises both economic and environmental benefits.
