Botanical Garden Prepares a Stunning Spring 2025 Flower Explosion
The city's Botanical Garden is set to burst into color in the spring of 2025, thanks to a planting spree currently underway. City gardeners are busy preparing the ground for a spectacular display of flowers and plants.
Daniela Toman, an expert from the Parks and Green Spaces Department, advises home gardeners to follow suit. She suggests buying and planting tulip bulbs now to guarantee blooms in the spring of 2025. The Botanical Garden's display will feature nearly 11,000 flower bulbs, including tulips like 'Purple Dream' and 'Christmas Marvel', and daffodils such as 'Bridal Crown'.
In addition to these, the garden will also boast 2,800 pansies, 2,500 forget-me-nots, and 1,400 evergreen Japanese golden sedge plants. This diverse range of flora is expected to create a vibrant mix of colors and species, starting to bloom in April.
The city's commitment to the Botanical Garden's spring display is evident in the extensive planting. With Daniela Toman's guidance, both the garden and local home gardens are set to flourish in the spring of 2025, bringing much-needed color and life to the city.
