BITO Celebrates 30 Years of MB Containers with Sustainable Redesign and Smart Logistics Tech
BITO Storage Systems is marking 30 years of its MB reusable container series with a fresh redesign. The company has also unveiled new sustainable and intelligent storage solutions at FACHPACK 2024. Among the updates are eco-friendly containers, improved thermal insulation, and real-time tracking technology.
The MB container series now features an ergonomic redesign to celebrate its 30th anniversary. Its thermal insulation has been enhanced, ensuring a cooling duration of at least 15 hours at temperatures between 2–8°C.
BITO has expanded its range of reusable containers for automated systems. These include the MB container, EQ folding box, KLT small-load carrier, XL Euro stacking container, and the XL-Motion quiet-running container. The XL-Motion series now includes new ECOmotion models, made entirely from recycled material. These ECOmotion containers come in base dimensions of 600 x 400 mm and 650 x 450 mm, with various height options. They also feature the easy2divide partitioning system and hidden drainage openings for improved fire safety.
For real-time logistics, BITO has introduced intelligent IOB containers. These allow businesses to monitor and manage transport containers more efficiently. Additionally, the BITO LEO flow transport system has been upgraded with a belt conveyor, designed to move containers, cardboard boxes, and small parts smoothly.
The company's sustainability efforts have also been recognised. The BITO MB ECO, a recycled version of the MB container, has received Germany's Blue Angel eco-label.
BITO's latest innovations focus on sustainability, efficiency, and automation. The redesigned MB series, eco-friendly ECOmotion models, and real-time tracking solutions are now on display at FACHPACK 2024. These updates aim to meet the growing demand for smarter and greener intralogistics systems.
