Berlin's Weißensee Welcomes Sustainable Condo Complex by 2026
Berlin is set to welcome a new sustainable residential complex in the Weißensee neighborhood. The project at Liebermannstraße 70, developed by Berlin-based architectural office Stephan Höhne, will offer 48 modern condominiums with a focus on energy efficiency and contemporary design. The new neighborhood is expected to be ready for occupancy by mid-2026.
The building, designed by Stephan Höhne, will feature photovoltaic systems and modern heat pumps to reduce energy consumption. These sustainable energy solutions will help the project aim for Efficiency House 40 certification. The complex will blend these eco-friendly features with stylish architecture, reflecting the firm's commitment to modern design.
The units will range from one to four rooms, catering to a variety of lifestyles. Future residents can look forward to enjoying balconies or terraces, along with interiors featuring solid wood parquet and large-format tiles. Currently, work on the fourth floor is nearly complete, indicating progress towards the planned mid-2026 completion date. Weißensee, an increasingly desirable neighborhood in northeast Berlin, will soon benefit from this sustainable and modern addition.
The Liebermannstraße 70 project in Berlin-Weißensee is set to transform the area with its blend of sustainable energy solutions and contemporary architecture. With 48 condominiums offering diverse living options and a planned occupancy by mid-2026, this development is poised to attract eco-conscious residents seeking modern urban living.
