Botanical Garden Lit Up for Christmas - Berlin’s Christmas Garden glows with 30 dazzling light installations this winter
Berlin’s Botanical Garden will transform into a winter wonderland this November. The annual Christmas Garden festival returns from November 19, 2023, to January 11, 2026, with dazzling LED lights displays and festive activities. Organisers promise an immersive experience along a two-kilometre illuminated trail through the garden’s 43-hectare grounds.
The festival will showcase over 30 light installations, each designed to highlight the garden’s natural beauty. Visitors can stroll along a circular path featuring a musical tree, a sparkling fountain show, and a vast field of LED lights. Families with children will find extra treats, including glowing cotton candy and interactive displays.
The festival runs daily from November 19 to January 11, giving visitors over a month to explore the illuminated gardens. With its mix of light art, seasonal food, and family-friendly attractions, the event aims to become a highlight of Berlin’s winter calendar.
