Berlin Museum Hosts Eco-Friendly Family Workshop for Festive Upcycling

The Museum for Communication Berlin is running a special event for families this December. On Sunday, 21 December 2025, children and adults can take part in creative recycling projects as part of Family Sunday for the Future. One of the highlights includes a workshop where old materials get a festive new life.

The event centres on sustainability and hands-on creativity. A key activity is the Upcycled Sparkling Holiday Decorations workshop, where participants turn discarded items into unique festive ornaments. The sessions cater to children aged four and older, ensuring everyone can join in.

The museum’s initiative offers a chance for families to spend time together while exploring eco-friendly home decor ideas. By repurposing waste into holiday decorations, the event encourages creativity and sustainability. Registration details and further information are available on the museum’s website.
