Bavarian Spa Leaders Ditch Meetings for a Wellness Tour Instead
A recent working group meeting in the Bavarian Rhön Spa Region took an unusual approach this November. Instead of a standard conference, around 30 tourism professionals, administrators, and politicians went on a spa-hopping tour. The event, organized by Thomas Beck, spokesperson for the Bavarian Rhön Spa Region and director of the Bad Bocklet state spa, aimed to strengthen collaboration by experiencing wellness offerings across the region firsthand.
The tour visited three well-known spas: KissSalis Therme in Bad Kissingen, Triamare in Bad Neustadt, and FrankenTherme in Bad Königshofen. Each location showcased its preventive and relaxation programmes, including aqua cycling and water aerobics.
The main event highlighted the region’s commitment to wellness and collaboration. By visiting multiple spas and sharing experiences, participants reinforced their network. The meeting concluded with plans to further develop marketing initiatives for 2025.
