Baden-Württemberg’s new app honors volunteers with digital rewards

Baden-Württemberg has launched a digital Volunteer Card app to recognize and reward those who give their time to others. The new tool makes it easier for volunteers to access benefits and information while supporting their work. State officials have highlighted the vital role these individuals play in communities across the region.

The Volunteer Card app is now available for download on all major app stores. It allows users to apply for the card digitally, replacing or complementing the traditional physical version. Once registered, volunteers can explore over 140 partner locations across Baden-Württemberg directly through the app.

The digital Volunteer Card offers a simpler way for volunteers to claim rewards and stay informed. With over 140 partner locations involved, the scheme aims to provide tangible support to those who help others.
