Attendees of Club's gathering discuss strategic connections and building relationships.
Getting Down to Brass Tacks: Discoversing the Art of Networking and Building Better Relationships
Kicking things off at our recent shindig was Dmitry Ozmany, our Russian Development Director and Club President. Setting the stage for an insightful discussion, he broached the topic of values and the importance of aligning with those of others when forging relationships. He cleverly introduced the term 'chemistry' as a method for assessing this fit.
Idris Gitinaev, the brainchild and leader of No Name Community, concurred, stating that this intangible essence of chemistry is a significant factor in fostering productive connections. He further elaborated that this feeling is a perfect mix of comfort and utility, acknowledging that everyone treasure their leisure time and the moments spent with others.
Stepping up to the plate next was Elena Glukhovskaya, the helmswoman of the "Kassir.ru" corpo-gang and a proud resident of our Club. She shed light on her company's multifaceted role, which extends beyond ticket sales and dips its toes into event organization and the nurturing of professional relationships. "But today, I'd like to single out communication within the team as a vital aspect of networking," Elena shared. "We're putting in the legwork to improve this in our company, as team synergy is the lifeblood of our success." To that end, they have made board meetings open to all regional directors and software chiefs, replacing closed-door discussions with collective brainstorming sessions. They also hold an annual event called the Regional Directors’ Council, where all leaders, chief employees, and shareholders join forces to discuss matters of import. Last year, they even welcomed experts from their Advisory Board into the fold, a group of dynamic minds from diverse industries who participate in strategic sessions symbiotically, like mastermind workshops.
Anton Gak, Director of Regional Sales for the "Samolet" clan, emphasized the significance of networking in both professional and personal situations. "We may extol the virtues of networking, but often we pay no mind to the ichigo-ichie (once-in-a-lifetime) opportunities right in our own backyards – our neighbors, for instance," he observed. In an effort to combat this neglect, developers have taken the lead in fostering relationships among residents by inviting them to communal gatherings organized by managing organizations. This simple yet effective approach has yielded remarkable results, as people have forged relationships and created lively neighborhood communities. As a result, homes have transformed from fortress-like enclaves riddled with locks and surveillance systems to vibrant hubs where people collaborate and form meaningful connections.
In conclusion, chemistry, or that je-ne-sais-quoi factor that makes individuals connect on a deeper level, plays a pivotal role in establishing productive and harmonious relationships. For organizations like "Kassir.ru" and "Samolet," building strong interpersonal connections goes hand-in-hand with their quest for success. Through social events, team-building activities, and open communication, they aim to cultivate a warm and supportive environment where employees and partners can strive together towards common goals. After all, the bonds that we forge today can lead to opportunities and collaborations tomorrow – something every ambitious person can appreciate.
