Atlas cedars and Serbian firs planted in the new queue of the "Krasnodar" park
Krasnodar Park has added new conifer species to its meadow near the 'Water Amphitheater'. The latest planting includes weeping Serbian spruces and pendulous Atlas cedars, both chosen for their striking ornamental features. Landscape architect Oleg Siryk designed the new area as part of the park’s seasonal upgrades.
The newly planted trees bring unique visual appeal to the park. Serbian spruces stand out with their tall, slender shapes, while Atlas cedars feature cascading, drooping branches. Both species belong to the 'pendula' variety, often used in landscaping for their dramatic, weeping canopies.
The planting marks the completion of this season’s tree-planting efforts in Krasnodar Park. The location, set against the backdrop of the 'Water Amphitheater', was carefully selected to enhance the area’s natural beauty. Siryk’s design integrates these conifers as focal points, adding texture and movement to the landscape.
Visitors can now see the newly planted weeping spruces and cedars in the meadow. Their distinctive forms create a fresh aesthetic for the park. The latest additions follow the park’s ongoing efforts to expand its botanical diversity.
