Astana's Urban Renewal: President Tokayev Launches Major Project to Transform City into Eco-Friendly Hub by 2025

President Tokayev has initiated a large-scale urban renewal project in Astana, aiming to create a modern, eco-friendly city. The first phase, covering 3.8 hectares, is underway, with a comprehensive plan to improve 170 public spaces and courtyards. The Head of State recently participated in an ecological action in the Botanical Garden, demonstrating his commitment to the project.

The project, led by Akim Nurlan Nogayev, involves transforming key public areas. Work is currently ongoing in the Botanical Garden, Triathlon Park, Aтатurk, Mira, Concord, Presidential Park, and main streets. The Esil River embankment reconstruction is nearing completion, with pedestrian and bicycle paths, architectural elements, and artificial ponds planned.

The concept for improving the alley 'Myngzhylk' has been developed, showcasing the project's attention to detail. All construction projects are expected to be finished by the end of 2025.
