Artemis Strikes High-Grade Gold at Titan East, North Pilbara
Artemis Resources (ASX: ARV) has made a significant discovery at its Titan East project in the North Pilbara region. The company has found a high-grade gold zone, with the first drill hole returning an impressive 5m @ 13.1g/t gold, including 3m @ 20.9g/t gold. This discovery is located 1.5km from the established Carlow gold-copper resource and is associated with a northeast-trending shear zone.
The gold mineralisation is associated with vein quartz systems, indicating a robust hydrothermal system that could extend significantly along strike. This is further supported by a second drill hole, 25ARRC024, which has intersected multiple vein quartz intervals, with assays pending. The mineralisation is hosted within a 20-metre mineralised zone with additional elevated gold values ranging from 0.1g/t to 0.78g/t. Artemis plans to commence a diamond drilling program in late November to determine true widths and orientation of mineralised veins, and to define strike and plunge potential along the shear zone. The company's proximity to established infrastructure, including Karratha and Dampier Port, provides a strategic advantage for any future development scenarios. Artemis is strategically positioned in the North Pilbara region, dominated by Greatland Gold's >12Moz Hemi Project, offering significant exploration upside for companies with strategic land positions and proven exploration capabilities.
Artemis Resources' discovery at Titan East is a new gold zone with high-grade intercepts. The company aims to define resource parameters and conduct metallurgical testing of new mineralised zones in the first quarter of 2025. Artemis' strategic location and access to infrastructure bode well for future development. Further drilling will help determine the extent and continuity of the mineralised system.
